Hibiscus Coast

HELPING A LITTLE HELPS THEM A LOT

If you would like to help us give the less fortunate cats and kittens of the Hibiscus Coast a chance for a better life, please feel free to contact us for ideas on how this could happen.

Some options include:

  • Donating money - either as a one off or setting up an auto payment - to assist us with buying more traps and cages as well as paying our vet bills (always a challenge but especially so in kitten season, which is in the warmer months)
NOTE that small regular monthly donations - even $10 - are hugely appreciated and ensure our sustainability
  • Donating cat bedding, cages or cat food (we can collect these if transport is a problem)
  • Feeding one night a week at one of our local colonies (this requires providing wet and dry food and fresh water)
  • Learning how to trap and handle abandoned and scared cats
  • Transporting cats and kittens to and from the vets and fosterers
  • Helping out at fundraising events
  • Organising for CatsnCare to talk to your social group, school, workplace, community group, village etc
  • Fostering cats and/or kittens - this is hugely satisfying as you literally save a cat or kitten's life by providing them with a home until they are adopted
  • Producing posters, articles, fliers etc
  • Keeping our database up to date - Gill is now our database darling xxx
  • Helping to produce our newsletter - thank you Gill for offering to do this too
  • Checking for phone messages and emails
